This week is the start of the semester and we welcome back Mario and Emily from their internships. Tucker also spent two weeks at the University of Bordeaux over the summer. Now the lab is filled with students again we are excited to see our projects moving into new directions!

Tucker Joins the Lab
This January Tucker McKenzie joined our lab as a Graduate Student and started investigating PDMS based polyHIPE materials.
Emily and Prathyusha join the lab
We are excited to have two new graduate students joining the group this year, Emily Dalton and Prathyusha Chimala. Emily will be working on a blood contacting polyureas, while Prathyusha will be studying new dynamic hydrogels.
Qinyuan's last day in the lab
Friday was Qinyuan's last day in the lab before she starts at Michelman. We wish Qinyuan all the best in her new adventure, and say thank you to her for a fantastic and productive time in our lab. See you at your Open Defense!
